**1 - Basic Skills in PMC**
**No previous experience required**
	This is the first in a series of 3, skill-building workshops. Students may follow up on this class with Intermediate & Advanced workshops when they are ready.
You will be shown how to make a pair of Earrings, a Pendant, a Hollow Bead and a Ring, learning the following techniques: - Basic skills in handling the different types of PMC and hand finishing the fired pieces. - Basics of firing PMC using a kiln, or by torch - Making a hollow bead - Working out the shrinkage for rings - Making a Photopolymer Plate - Texturing clay using the photopolymer plate - Setting a stone that'll be fired in place - How to apply a patina for an antique look & to show off textures Email me about this class

2 - Intermediate Skills in PMC
(the student must have completed Basic Skills)

Intermediate silver clay class

This is the second course in the Skill building workshops. Follow this class with the Advanced Skills in PMC at any time to bring your skill level to the equivalent of PMC Certification Level 2

You will be shown how to make a minimum of 4 pieces of jewellery learning the following techniques:

- A Domed Pendant with Gold Foil applied to it
- A Half-round ring with a stone and a little carving
- Sheet clay project of your choice
- A Clasp set made with PMC & Fine Silver wire
- Setting up a tumbler for polishing PMC

3 - Advanced Skills in PMC
This workshop is for people who have completed my Intermediate Skills workshop

PMC Classes on the Gold Coast Qld

This is the last class of the three skill building workshops and of course the most challenging of all!

Please note: Due to the complexity of the projects, this class cannot be completed in one day

You will be shown how to make a minimum of 4 pieces of jewellery learning the following techniques:

- How to make a beautiful hinging locket
- Bezel setting a natural stone in a brooch
- How to attach the brooch fittings
- Attaching sterling silver posts to PMC earrings
